ASUU CALLS OFF STRIKE TODAY

By  |  42 Comments

We have reports coming in that the NEC of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) in a meeting in Abuja today has resolved to suspend the on-going strike action.

The Federal Government and ASUU seem to have reached an agreement on the demands made by the Union which includes better funding of Nigerian Universities.

ASUU NIGERIA tweeted this:

“We want to thank you all for the understanding thus far. All lecturers are to resume immediately. ASUU will not relent on her efforts to rescue the educational system by pressing home the demands necessary at all times.”

atleast now is better. But one thing, What is the best word to decribe Fed. Gov. and ASUU? One thing they should understand, confusion sould not lead them again. All! All!! and All!!! We can they were fooling themselves.
